diffuser use?

ok, i got a bong and i was wonder if i should get a diffuser but i started to think i need to know what a diffuser does better in my bong than the original down stem? so can someone please help

Man i want one for my glass on glass bong they are the shit i had a friend that had a triple diffuser ROOR bong. It was amazing smoked some blueberry and hash out of it the first time i used it.d

i have a new bigger diffuser for this guy too. and a second diffuser for my other bottle. sooner than later it will be the blackschlager double perc double diffuser glass on glass :stoned:
