how bad of an idea is it to order seeds to the house your growing at?

i have no idea where i can send my seeds, the house im at now would be fine becuase its accepted there. But i dont know if it will get me caught or something?!? so please shine some knowledge on me:thumbsup:

you are not legally responsible for what you RECEIVE in the mail, unless you would be stupid enough to admit ordering them ... the only possible consequence, is that your address may be watched for further activity, or possibly, used to obtain a search warrant (I've never heard of that happening) ... :smokin:

They can't use the mailed seeds to get a search warrant (yet) but once they have your address, they may look for other reasons to get one.

i got a po box. yea you need to use an ID to set one up, but not being shipped to the grow house. i just asked a friend involved in the project to help me out. they do not live at the growers address so worked out great. 10bux for the po box for 6months and deposit on keys!

also nice for ordering my nutes, just to be safe. and i also use a prepaid credit card to order with. no paper trail.

If you have a friend who lives in a multi-family house with a lot of roommates or units that share a post box, have it delivered there attn: some made up name, and have your friend keep an eye out for it. A couple levels of security there. That's what I do.

I wouldn't worry about it unless you're ordering some G-13 directly from the government. It doesn't seem that the government would be watching who's purchasing seeds from a site out of the country, but they've done weirder shit like, alienating your unalienable rights for instance.

u better make sure u know how they ship it and make sure it's not registered mail. and i think most over seas seed shops do or atleats the ones i bought from did. and i almost got fucked out of my package as i had them shipped to my friends house. and the seed company sent it reg mail where u have to sign for it. and my friend had to go pick it up at the post office. and he pretty much had to sweet talk the girl to let him sign for it. as it was a made up name and they checked his dl. they were about to send it back and he told them it was for a friend of his. but that friend was in jail and he was picking up all his mail. so she said ok but i almost lost them so watch out for that!!!!!

i did so from doc.chron; got seeds, never got busted, but that doesn't mean it's smart; i dunno what to tell you, like with growing weed in the first place, YOU AND ONLY YOU need to carefully access the risks

Do like me, order a few strains, in a few different orders. If any of them dont make it to you move soon after, before growing what you got. Then be ready to do a little breeding, to build up a nice surplus to last some years. Fuck getting arrested, you gotta be as safe as possible.
Another option I've been looking into would be going to Canada, hitting up the local walk in seed shops, then smuggling them back. The problem with this idea is that the walk in seed shops have terrible prices, unknown handling of the seeds, the cost of travelling up there, and most important the risk of smuggling carries severe penalties.
I just finally cracked down and ordered some seeds for the first time, after years of thinking about it. Until recently I could find decent genetics on the streets, but I'm far from that wonderful place now, and good genetics are necessary.

nice dave or u can stake out an empty house and have it sent there the rule with ordering seeds from a seed bank is u have a 50/50 shot at getting it and everything working out but hey thats the risk u have to take if u want sum good stuff other than whats on the street

50/50 are the odds really that bad? Even from a reasonably reliable source?

i'd guess they're quite a bit better than 50/50; more like 80/20 or better i would think, with the loud voices online being from those who are pissed off

it's really the luck of the draw ... I went for years without a single male, then started bragging about it, and the next 3 grows were disasters (true story:() ... and, I've never seen hermies on my plants, ever ... oh, hell, hope I didn't jinx myself again ... :wtf:

well i mean not knowing a seed company for the first time would be a 50/50 shot. that 1 u get them in the first place. 2 they are what they say they are. 3 u get them sent to where ever with no probs.4 the company u don't know keeps ur money and u never hear back from them. and of course once u find a good company u trust the odds would go up but u never know whats gonna happen when u buy anything online really,am i wrong? i mean ur not face to face and it's a crap shoot first time out or even 2nd 3rd time out i mean who knows what can and does happen u know?

well iv'e seen a list somewhere online showing all/most of the companies and had them listed from good to bad and so.so and theres alot of shady shit goes down online i mean look at overgrow that was from what iv'e read a real good place to learn and buy from and the got busted or whatever happened and alot of people got fucked over that so to say 80/20 if ur that brave then so be it
