well lately I've noticed something while listening to one of my favorite Kottonmouth Kings songs, "Bong Toke"

D-Loc says "We gettin' higher higher smokin' on a vaporizer"

Does anyone else notice something odd about "smokin' on a vaporizer"?

Well a vaporizer is an alternative to smoking. You aren't smoking.

I see what you mean. Im sure D-Loc was blazed while writing it but otherwise it was probably just a term like toking. He probably didnt even think about it. I could see meself sayin something like "Ya we smoked out of the vaporizer last night". I can understand why he would say that.

Well...I dunno but if your not "smoking" than what the fuck are you exhaling? looks like smoke to me. In my mind your still smoking it, I mean its the same concept. Either with a flame or in a vaporizer its just being heated up and because it gets so hot smoke comes off. your just not getting all the plant matter and shit when you vaporize. I dunno im a little blazed so maybe i aint thinkin straight.
