Quick run down
11 indoor plants
MH light, 5 compact flors, 2 tube flores
started to pop on the 8th, a couple popped later
for the most part, they are healthy
3 of them got me a little worried.
A couple have lime green centers. It does not run through out the veins. What is this?
I was having some ph issues...as low as 3.5 eeekk! (due to my water) But i let them dry out and in one day, soil healed itself...back up to 5.5-7....varies in different pots. I know the ph is due to my water, that will not be an issue by tomorrow :)
-1st pic is the one with the lime green center
-2nd this one was uprooted during a watering, and roots were exposed to lights for a few seconds....It acually looks a lot better than it did a few days ago....so i think it's shock
-3rd some healthy ones
-4th 'Shedevil' just a side view

your pH should be 6.5 - 7.0 in soil ... do NOT feed your seedlings ANY nutrients for the first two weeks ... when you do fertilize, do so at half-strength ... don't overwater ... :smokin:

Soil pH does not heal itself.
Your meter depends on moisture for an accurate reading.
You need to fix the soil pH. Better still, scoop out the chunk that each seedling is in and repot into good soil-water in with water at pH 6.8-7.0 to make up for the fact that the chunk has 3.5- adjusting the pH is probably going to cause a TON of stress to the babies, and a repot is preferable in this situation.

thanks for the advise :) I'm gonna repot prolly tomorrow....My soil is fine...its the water...dang tap, i left it out...but that didnt work obviously, lol
...hehe, and by 'healing' i just meant it dryed out so its getting back to the soils original ph...sorry for my confusing terms...:stoned:
its just the 3 out of the 11....the others seem to be doing lovely....but they are young, so time will tell
thanks for the advise:cool:

No, it still isn't right just because it's dry- once you add something that changes the pH, it's there until you get it back out- like flowers of sulfur won't register the same dry as they will wet. pH is a function of the activity of hydronium ions, and those are released when water comes into contact with a chemical that CAUSES them to be released.

 ... I must be the only old fart that still uses test strips ... I threw away my cheap meters, and am too cheap to buy the expensive ones ... even strips aren't all that cheap ... I use the 5.0-10.0 ... Test Strips (http://www.sanitationtools.com/Category.asp?Category=65)
but, they're accurate, I guess ... the ones I use are laboratory-grade, etc ... really easy to use

I see they now have a narrow-range 4.0-7.0, I should get those next time ...hmmm. Free Shipping now, too Test Strips (http://www.sanitationtools.com/Products.asp?Product=1438&Category=65)

I use liquid- because I'm a cheap Yankee. If we had a cheapness contest, I could give you a run for your money.

you shoulda seen my kidney surgeon's face the other day ... when he asked if I was drinking plenty of water, I said " yup, easily a gallon a day, but, my tapwater pH is 4.5, is that still OK ? " ... he just stares at me, LOL :wtf:... he says " you KNOW your tapwater pH ? " ... then, he looked at my 'labs', and says " your urine is 6.5, so that looks good  " ... I said, "first time I ever hit 6.5 on the first try " :D ... (my doctor isn't real 'sure' about me, ya know ?) ... :S3:

4.5!? Wow, that's pretty low for tap water.

I know where i live we use a desalination system....maybe thats why the tap is so low....

a little update....I went with the cheap yankee route, lol...I got the liquid. And guess what....tap water was A ok...The other poke ohe didnt read worth a damn. But i still bought a liquid ph balancer, and also a liquide chlorine eliminator for tap water....so i'm at 7-7.2
And the lime green was from 1/4 nitro dose given too early... i know, i hit myself already. But plants look better. Just today they grew A LOT
