making a grow cab

here is the plan

8ft tall, 4ft wide, 8ft deep

Constructed out of 8x4 plywood sheets, and 4x4's.

Venting, A/C unit ( window mount), and 2 fans, inside to provide turblence.

Dual 600 watt hps for lighting with reflectors.

All walls and floor will be painted flat white. Outside will be painted brown, with outdoor paint.

Whats everyone think? I figure i can get about 12 3 gallon pots in there and have a decent size harvest. What do you guys think, suggestions welcome. Cab will be outside

Sounds good but you don't need 4x4's. 2x4's are more than adequate. If it's outside, you need to take some precautions to keep the floor from rotting, which can happen real quick in certain climates. You might want to consider insulating.

that a nice stealthy cab you made :-) nice work.

I live out in the middle of no were so mine can sit in my backyard, out of sight from the house, due to guests...

I know i don't need to use 4x4's but it just makes it that much easier to build :-), and i already have the supplies.


insulating will be done, mainly with Fiberglass, i only plan on having about 2" of insulation on the walls, and the roof. The floor will be exposed but shouldn't be to much of a problem.
