If the U.S. reinstated the draft would you be for or against this. And also if you were drafted would you go or try to evade? Let the discussion begin.

It depends. If the country truly needed the draft then yes. And I believe that they should also pick women for the draft also. So lets say that this is the case, that my governemnt truly needs more men and women to serve and I was indeed picked I would try to become the best soldier I could be. It's your duty as an American. Its the least you could do in my opinion.

Yeah, its my duty as an american to blindly follow the government and kill innocent Iraqis who are only fighting us so that we get the fuck out. Have fun making people money by sacrificing yourself for a completely unworthy cause. I know if i get drafted im going to spend my time in prison for as long as I have to or i'll bolt.

Definitely there should be a draft - only it should be limited to the families of all elected officials.

Then we would have some responsibility in government.

If there is a draft for this war, I guarantee you there would be riots. At least I hope so.

^ yeah I think that would be a situation. But I dont believe that the draft would be brought back for this war. I just don't believe it would be passed.

I do not believe in a draft, unless circumstances make it absolutely necessary. We need a small army of highly paid professionals. Many career military people currently serving would already be qualified, but I'd cut down the numbers of the rank-and-file, and useless bureaucrats, drastically. We should not be sending soldiers to bases in Europe, and many other places. Who are we "protecting" them against, China? It's stupid, and expensive. Time to look out for Number One, which is the U.S.A.

If they wanted a draft they would have it, It is exactly the same as vietnam. They dont care why everything is happening. As long as we make the big bankers money.

I personally don't support it, but it really depends on the situation. it has to be proved that it is a legit threat and that we would need all the manpower.

personally, i would never want to live in the remnants of a nuclear war because the pain and suffering from the radiation would be like nothing you have ever experienced.

lets hope we don't have to use nukes again. if Bush strikes Iran this year, it would have blown 62 years of non-use of nuclear weapons against other countries.

LMAO, yeah like getting your limbs blown off, or half your face, or your dick. Yeah real beneficial. If you see it that way, why don't you go or send your relatives to get the benefits? I did my time in Hell and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Peacetime Army, maybe, But with theze Bozos in charge, there will be no peace for decades.
