This video is amazing... people walking over a pool of a freakish liquid, which became "solid" with the pressure... so its possible to walk fast over it... watch it! Its very freaky!:wtf:

forgot what i was, but mythbusters showed this stuff arleady in one of their episodes... (probably where these people got the idea from)

i'm pretty sure it as the episode where they were confronting some myth on quicksand.

i forget what it's called but we made some of that in chemistry once... as it moves around it becomes solid but as soon as it's still it turns back to liquid

It's called a non-newtonian fluid, and you can make some yourself by mixing corn starch and water.

Nothing to it: mix enough corn starch and water in a big enough container, and you too can walk on "water"...

Haha yea I saw that shit too. He always went in the water weird though, that's why I think the shoes didn't work, but yea the second the video started the liquid looked exactly the same as it did in the mythbusters episode so I knew that's what it was.

jeeze mythbusters did not do everything first!

just because they are the only idiots on cable who have done it makes them original?

sorry i dislike the mythbusters approach to "mythbusting"

like the one where they say its physically impossible to have a CD shatter from spinning in your CD drive.

tell that to all the people out there who have ruined CD drives from diablo 2 discs and even some shitty discs you get in the mail do it too.

I did this for a chem project once. Fuckin fun to play with. Mix some food coloring in it too for an added fun effect.

Im not sure but i think the ratio is like..9 tablespoons of corn starch per so many cups of water.

lmao funny you should mention that... it's gotta have a crack in it or something tho, or have some critical defect. my wife had a CD shatter in her DVD drive... it fucked the DVD drive too.. had to replace it.
