Hello all after reading the forums for month's I decided to start my own grow. Ive been wanting to do this for years. I built a dwc and had a great first grow. 4 healthy females are 1 week into flower. Well heres the bad news. My basement is starting to stink. I underestimated how bad they would stink up the basement and now I have to chop them down. I'm tempted to ask my sister if I can still keep them but I know she will say no. Plz ppl just say some things to make me feel better. Oh yeah they were WHITE WIDOW. and no I didn't have the money to buy a carbon filter and I couldn't fig out how to make one even after reading the how to. I tried a couple diff things to take the smell away and none worked.

buy a carbon filter. They are cheap on ebay(only like 80 plus shipping) and will get rid of all the toxins in the air, including the marijuana smell. one carbon filter can cover around 3,500 sq feet which is pretty amazing. check it out! not worth dumping 3 healthy females over smell. tell your sis to relax and explain to her that you will take care of the smell. :D

Green - There are some great DIY carbon filter instructions in the FAQ section. I built one and it was a piece of cake - only took about an hour. And it was really inexpensive to build.

Check out these instructions (http://boards.cannabis.com/grow-faqs/99371-diy-how-carbon-filter.html).

If you're dead broke, but air freshener spray and go down several times a day.

Do you have a camera? If you're having trouble building the carbon filter, take pictures and post what your specific confusion/problem is with it and people here can walk you through building it.

There's always the odor neutraliser (http://boards.cannabis.com/grow-faqs/59316-diy-inexpensive-odour-neutraliser.html).

either go and buy the fish-tank carbon filters, or make one with coffee filters, carbon and pantyhose. Tape it all up, put it in your exhaust line and the carbon filtering begins....

i made one of these last week and it works amazingly! i used the cat litter crystals, so it actually gives off a sort of fresh scent if anything at all!

Have you considered ONA gel? In a small to moderate grow the shit does work. And it isnt too expensive.
