my new DWC clone & seedling. and I also have a few Qs.

what is the best kind of water to use for a DWC hydro system.
and how often should I change my ferts in the water.

now about my plants 1 is a clone and the other 1 is a seedling.
the clone looks good to me. but the seedling looks kind of bad not too bad just kinda bad.

what might be the problem and how to fix it.
and is my seedling an indica or a hybrid strain.

the seed came fron some very very very dank cristaly bud that I got a few months back.

so what do ya think of them.

Looks good. Seedling can stretch if lights are not close enough and even then they don't look as good as clones. Brace the seedling and get a fan for air movement , that will make it strong.
Use RO water or disstilled. and change nutes at least every 2 weeks.

they both have 2 CLFs 23 watt lights on them. and there only 2 inches above the plants.
I do have a flower box with more light that they will go into later on when they get bigger.

and the seedling has a bad looking leaf on it.

well all I have is some pure blend pro. hydro-organic accelerated vegetative flormula 3.15-4

I don't have any more money to spend on other stuff. and there an't any hydro stores in my town.

so how do they look. or what can I do with what I have to make them grow better.

and the leafs arn't yellow its just the lights shining on them.

heres a little update.
the clone an't doing good at all.
but the seedling is doing good enough.but could be doing better.
the seedling smells likes sweet candy.

I think I only have veg ferts. my veg fert is botanicare
pure blend pro. 3-1.5-4. I bought it some 5 years ago back when I did my first hydro drip system.

would this work as flower nuts. medina hasta gro plant 6-12-6
it is liquid nuts. if that makes a defferents at all.

see there is not a hydro store in my town.

so what can I do to help my plant? should I toss out the clone.
and the seedling is darker that it looks in the pic.

The wet kind.

I use well water and everything is great. If you use city water be sure to neutralize the chlorine.

And I would not trash any clones until you are sure they are not going to make it. But that's just me and my small operation.

No nutes the first two weeks, then 1/4 strength, then 1/2 strength, keep increasing until you see signs of nute stress, then back off a little. That's how much.

Water only when the dirt is almost completely dried out. I know this isn't right, but for any plants I have in dirt, I often just look at them twice per day. When I see small signs of wilt, I know it's time to water with nutes. Otherwise you can tell with a moisture meter, or by lifting the pots to see how heavy they are, or just by sticking your finger in the soil to see if it is still moist.

How silly I am. I knew you were doing hydro, and I said dirt.

I change my resevoir at least once per 3 weeks. More often is better. Other than that, I add nutes when it gets low.

I really think I am gunna just get rid of the sick clone. and move the seedling to the system that the clones was in cuz it is bigger.
or try to find a even bigger bucket than that one to put it in.

and on some good news is that the seedling is looking better. so new pic of it soon.
and the seedling deff looks to me like a indica/sativa hybrid.

and when I put it in the bigger bucket it will then have a 3ed airstone in the bucket and hopefuly grow better.
