The mad scientist aka "The Three Sisters"
Its been about a year since i picked up this bad larry ( http://www.everyonedoesit.co.uk/img/products/molino_mad_scientist_v2_f.jpg) . it was $89, just over $100 total since i opted for the asher/pre-cooler (http://shop.grasscity.com/images/items/pba2006_200.jpg )
first of all, this piece is durable. its pyrex, so it holds up to being banged around. i did chip the bowl, but i dropped it on a stone counter. its still usable and molino can send me a new one.
Its hits big and thick just like your mom likes it. luckily the smoke isn't too rough. when you smoke the good stuff, there like tsunamis to the brain. w/o a screen, you'll get 2-3 man rips. with a screen (which it comes with like 8, too bad they dont fit), and this seems to be my preferred method, you might get 1-2 big ones, but if u keep the temp just right you can use the screen to almost vaporize the greens, and for keef and hash, it helps them burn more evenly.
like i said, this thing is built solid. it fits together well and feels heavy. the joints are thick and even took me heating them with a propane torch and twisting with rubber pliers. Unfortanatly, i had to do all this because one of the joints ( Diamond Ground Cut-the parts fit perfectly together - for a superior smoke (http://molino-glass.com/pyrexglassbongs/cut.jpg) ) got stuck. its clean, got cleaned with alchi and kosher every week or so. being a clear bong, you kind of have to. but its stuck in there.
other small gripes, unless your fingers resemble the hooks on coat hangers, the inner diffuser is a bitch to get out. the diffusers can clog with old water. with the precooler, the balance its somewhat forward causing it to want to tip. it looks dirty quick. the ice my freezer cant fit in the stem. lastly, the uppermost chamber should have more water but cant because of the buoyancy of the lower chamber. these are all things i can easily live with. the pros, its super durable, u can freeze it, heat it up, take ripps so big and smooth you'll need to sit down. its a great value, its 3 chambers with the precooler. i use it like every day. i'd give her an 8 outta 10. i gave her the name, "the three sisters"
