alright but ill describe it the best i can. on the INSIDE of the bong by the whole where the stem goes in there is a rubber cork thing around the stem to hold it in place. the stem's good sized(bong is like 2 footer). is there anyway i can remove this stem. id buy a stem like the one in this bong:
Shivadas Glass: 16 - 17" waterpipe. (http://www.shivadas.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=SG&Product_Code=WP14&Category_Code=W)
do you think it would work out?

sorry for the trip post but let me rephrase this. how do you take the female piece out of a bong. The bong does not have a glass on glass connection where the female meets the bong. there is a large rubber grommet. how do you remove and replace the female peice
