Well guys i considering one or two strawberry cough plants in a bedroom with a 600w light...it a double sized bedroom so there is plenty of room and it shouldnt get too hot but i got the extraction etc covered...What i want to ask is,,,do i need infra red mylar on ceiling or walls given the size of the room or will i be ok with just painted walls and ceiling?and if i do need the mylar or just normal mylar is it just on ceiling and outside walls?what you all think?:rastasmoke:

just put mylar on the walls if you want to get the most out of your light and seeing how you will not be using near all the room you would probably be better off in a corner utilizing 2 existing walls and possibly putting up a temporary wall with mylar attached to it to reflect it back to the plants atleast on 3 sides of the grow area.
a 600 really only covers about 12 sq ft that would be about a 3 by 4 ft area.

you could do more than one or two under a 600w.

Is this room devoted entirely to growing or are you "sharing" it with the plant?

no need to reflect light with a 600w on a couple of plants. Bung 'em in a corner under the light and start farming.

dont worry about being spotted by a hellicopter, it could be a water heater for all they know. you dont have a huge grow op. going on. just be quiet and carefull.
