as my plants r becomeing more established the roots r leaking out the bottom of my pots an hanging down in2 the return trays on my drip system. do i need 2 keep these roots covered up or what. any1 no ?

yes they should be covered and especially kept from light.

They are water roots and can hang in the water 24/7. If you mean cover them from light then yes, they don't like the light. It will screw them up.
