Anyone have weed related pet names? When I was a teenager, I had two black labs, named Chronic and Tical. This was when Dr. Dre and Method Man were out, and I thought it would be interesting to name my dogs that. We lived in the county, where there were no leash laws, so I would be outside calling "Chronic, Tical" when it was time for them to eat.

I just acquired to baby dumbo rats. Their names are Sticky and Icky. The are so awesome. I'm buying them a ball to roll around in and I'm thinking of getting them high. I'm about to start a poll about it.

Yeah I plan on getting a puppy soon. Hopefully a Lhasa Apso, we had one when I was a little kid. My buddy suggested naming him Kush, but I think I might go with Taz.

I thought it was a requirement for New England hippies to at some point own a funny looking shepherd mix named Indica?

I vote for Doobie.

Doesn't the full name contain the mother's name too? For instance, we had a horse whoose mom's name was Hi Ds and he was Drambuie. So his full name was Hi Ds' Drambuie. If you go with that deal (and just for argument's sake say the mom's name is Aphrodite), then Aphrodite's Nugget might make folks think of road apples instead of cannabis . . . just saying. :D

My favorite horse was named Stoney. He was the coolest horse, calm as can be.

I had a cat named Bogart, the double meaning was easily explained (but Bogart was a girl kitty) in the 70's. Ha! Showing my age. Does anyone say that any more?

I have had a Sparkie and a Nugget and now: Patches-any double meaning? She is a little 2 yr. old now 8.2 pound: Half Shih-tzu and half-who knows. Mostly white with reddish bandit eyes and ears and big spot on her side: Then little plump patches (like a field of weeds) on her top rear half and same type of patches on her hind lower legs.

Had her sister who had black where Patches has reddish color (gave to a neighbor in childhood to help her with psyco problems-it worked) and I had half the work of poddy training. Trained to blue training pads.

So, I look at my little 'field of weeds!' One word of caution though: Never bake with budder and let your dog lick the brownie batter off your finger! The guilt of it will kill you!

No one has ever realized the double meaning in my critters names! Well, except 30 years ago when I had a little boy cocker I named buster and a year later a little girl I named cherry: But, she was that color! PR
