what is causing this problem? (picture)

i've been keeping these plants outdoors, and recently i've noticed brown speckles on the two lowest leaves

i dont have any experience so i was hoping someone could tell what might cause this kind of damage

insects....get yourself a good quality insect spray. (I like Fox Farms Don't Bug Me) :)

Ditto the insect comments, some of my tomato's outside look like that and that was the problem.
