Some hermie only a little and if you diligently pick the male flowers as soon as you see them each day, spray them with water first to neutralize the pollen, you can be fine. Done it several times. Some gals are full of male flowers though, and they can be too hard work and too much of a risk to keep.

Last time I found hermies, I placed them at the very end of the room so that they recieved the air from the intake last, as opposed to being next to the intake and risk pollen blowing over the others.

If you're getting like 1-2 male flowers a day on each plant, you can save them. If you're getting clusters, cut down and smoke.

I destroy hermies, upon first sight (or, at least I would, I've never had one occur) ... protect future generations, trash 'em :smokin:

Were they all clones from the same mum?
Usually, harsh conditions, light leaks, too hot, etc.
Yeah, you can save those, don't be careless though.
If you catch them at that stage, they seem to stop growing male flowers after a while.

I think hermies are becoming a growing problem as indoor hobbyists perpetuate seed and clones from them. Don't use their seed, it will carry hermy traits, or clones, unless it hermied because of extreme conditions, in which case it may not usually be that succeptible to such gayness.

The more fragile the strain, the more succeptible it is to harsh conditions.
They hermy because something in the environment tells them that "uh, oh, something really weird has happened around me, I'm probably gonna die, I've just got time to try to pollinate myself". If they didn't hermie too much and good conditions are restored, they can grow healthy, but may still produce male flowers now and again.

Are you too hot? Light leaks during flower?
