hey, im thinking about getting a HPS light, but i cant drill a hole in the side of my house for venting... I was wondering if you could have a 250 w HPS light without any extensive venting, just like ocilating fans and such... the room is always at 70 degrees F, any help?

if you really wanted to...you can freeze 2 litre bottles and bring them in there to cool it off...but thats pretty lame...ive heard of people doing that for like a day while they fix stuff.....other then that i think you need a place to vent your hot air.

Use flexible duct and vent out a window.

you can probably get by with a 250 without ventilation, it will raise the temp of the room some but it probably wont be that much of an increase to cause problems.

I've had my temps go well above 90 without it seeming to affect my plants any. And 10 extra degrees would probably help your plants if anything. As long as you can get your plants enough CO2, I think you'll be ok.
