I feel for you. We moved away from my hometown and I was totally lost for ages. I was making a very long drive monthly.
As time went on, I made a few friends and not much of a problem anymore. It just takes time and tons of patience. Once you get that first hit, it'll be your favorite one ever.

All drinking ever did for me is want two or three hits worse than when I started drinking... Just because you know how great a hit of weed would be at the time alcohol never substitutes it no matter how drunk you get even if you drink yourself entirely stupid the times where you can think youll give your nuts for a toke. A toke after 10 drinks is the best part of being drunk : P

Sad part for me is now that I shouldn't be smoking since i can get in deep shit for it everyone has a hit for me or wants me to come hang out and smoke a few try that situation out lol

Its like they just cant wait to hang out and get high with me now but before I always had to be buying the shit and Id be the one running out trying to smoke up the town lol its like I can't win either so dont feel too bad. At least when you smoke you aren't rolling the dice to see if you go back to prison for a year : P

I totally feel your pain. And your right, alcohol sux compared to weed. I don't care if I ever drink again as long as I can blaze.

As for getting some weed, you just gotta be able to talk to people and hang out where stoners hang (guitar/music stores are always good). It might take a little while to build a trusting relationship with someone so they don't think your a pig or anything, but eventually something will come through.

I'm almost in the same positiion now. I have a little weed left and I don't know the guy very well that hooked me up with it. I just hope he remembers me when I call him up for some more.

Just keep your fingers crossed and your head high (no pun intended) and something will come up.

I feel your pain clever. I'm in that position right now....

I don't necessarily know if I feel as desperate about it as you do. I tend to try to move on with life when something is out of my control, and this is something you can't control.

The most frustrating part of the whole situation is the fact that here in America, alcohol and cigarettes are perfectly legal, and both of those things are 100x more damaging to your body than cannabis... But again, that's not something anybody can control. You can vote for the candidate that will most likely promote legalization in the up-coming election, but ultimately, it's going to be years before weed is ever legalized here in the states. So for me, I'll be 60 years old before the time comes when you can go down to the corner tobacco shop and buy a pack of government issue...

I moved to Tennessee 5 years ago and have been dry ever since. people down here keep it close to the vest. So I feel your pain. Unfortunately, there's not much you can do about it. And turning to the internet isn't going to help. People are typically too paranoid to trust someone they meet on a cannabis message forum to help them out.

Good luck though. I hope you find a hook-up eventually.

Been there. It does suck. I solve it by going and walking around looking for somebody who looks like a smoker and asking them where to get it. I ain't scared to walk through a slightly bad neighborhood in town if I've got to. I wouldn't recommend it for young cats though.
