I'm not high today. I'm making a concentrated effort not to smoke during the day today. Not only am I getting a little low, I've noticed that when I smoke during the day I dont get as high at night when I can smoke with my boyfriend and I constantly eat all day long. I'm not talking about munching on carrot sticks either

Hey, Txgirl. You anywhere near Haltom City or any of the other bad flooded areas?

My family and I are in Frisco, so just about a county and a half away from you.

Hi Birdgirl,
I am about 10-15 minutes S from Haltom C and Hurst. My front bathroom flooded a few times and my yard was a swamp until Sunday, (dh finally got to mow at 8 last night!) but nothing near what those poor folks got. How bout y'all, you have any water trouble or just getting to enjoy all the mosquitos? They are awful now!

I used to have friends in Frisco, we'd take our kids to play at that mall up there, I can't remember what it was called. a county and a half and a 3 hour drive if traffic stinks, huh?

what a kind thing to do! I bet that helped a great deal, too. i need to borrow him for a couple of days. My hunny took good care of me yesterday but he is not a smoker and so not sympathetic to the cause, lol.

Stonebriar Mall! Yeah, the traffic along 121 is miserable.

We got a ton of rain, but nothing like y'all did. No flooding or anything. The skeeters are bad, and I notice more summer bugs than usual anyway. I think they're trying to get away from all the moisture outside. It's been an amazingly wet sping and summer so far. Dave and I are driving up to Texoma this weekend to check out the lake levels. There'll be no way to fish or rent a boat because the ramps are all closed. But it'll just be interesting to see how high it is in comparison to the last two years of bone drought.

Yes, Stonebriar, that is it!

The rain has been excessive, but how nice is it that it is bout mid July and it is in the 80s and 90s. One for the record books.
Speaking of bugs- do yall ever get those bag worms? We had them something awful. When it finally quit raining one day, my husband (also a Dave, btw) sprayed stuff up in the trees and it was raining worms for almost 10 minutes. The ones that didnt die tried their damnedest to get in our house, for retribution, I'm sure. Nasty little things.

Oh that will be a fun trip- you'll likely see water straining various banks on your way up there, too. I heard Texoma was stirred up but good!
nice to talk to you :)
