Soil vs. Hydro

To everybody........soil, or hydro? What do you use?

Hydro gets high yields, fast growth, good pot, you know exactly what nutrients are present, ect. And there are organic nutrients for hydro.
But I like soil, it requires more guess work, can handle higher pH, and most important (to me at least) is that whenever the first pot plant propogated, until not too long ago, marijuana grew in soil. It's the way things have been for the species entire existance (until whenever other methods of cultivation were produced). So that makes me appriciate soil.
Dont get me wrong hydro is cool, I have much respect for hydro, Hydro comes over to take bong rips all the time.

i dont know all the mumbo jumbo kuzz ima noob but i like soil kuzz ive used it but i think hydro is also pretty awesome how some one thought about growin pot in this way...soo yea about 50/50 for me...the benifits hydro has is from work nd soil is simpler to use i imagine...

There is organic hydro. If you think that there is no chemicals in soil think again. People gettig sick on hydro is because of crappy handling or shit added to make you think it's hydro. If you didn't see it grow , how do you know ? Hydro rocks ass. Total control is the only way. Other wise you are at the mersy of mother nature. Sometimes good ,sometimes bad. Hydro is rock solid once the person growing gets it down.

I use soil and I love it to death don't get me wrong but hydo pie is so f-ing nice my god. I will give soil one thing though it is a better way to learn the in and outs of being horticulturist. When I move to a house then I will have a hydro set, the shit gets s dank you can smell it through the walls.

I'm a dirt grower. I've mostly grown mj outdoors and I have a veggie garden so dirt it is for me.
Hydro is the best way for indoor commercial pot farming though. And small hydro grows work very well too.

i grow both and like them all.

Hydro is more work, with the water changes and the tests you do very often.
I will always grow hydro, and the extra clones all go in dirt, its the only way I can get a group of 6 for each of my rainforests.

Currently i am harvesting:

Hydro: 6 white widows, 6 skunk/haze
dirt: 3 white widows, 3 skunk/haze

I am keeping a log for yield and eventually a smoke report for four classes.
1. ww hydro
2. sk hydro
3. ww dirt
4. sk dirt

It's been a very fun ride so far watching all the changes in them all.
