So, as you can probably tell I llike a lot of music (talking about 2pac, with the beatles in my sig)

2pac wrote a song called "God Bless The Dead"
At the start it says "Rest in peace to my motha fucka biggie smalls" but smalls died after he did... how did he write that?

is he alive?

That song is damn good...sick beat.

From what I've gathered about the song, I'm pretty sure it was recorded circa '94 when one of Pac's friends ALSO with the nickname BIGGIE SMALLS from L.A. [weird, I know] was murdered...and this song was a tribute to him.

i think hes dead it's been damn near 11 years and if he would of been alive he would of done something, people who love something, like music they would have a tough time being away from it for so long

Im 50/50 about this half of me thinks hes dead half of me thinks he alive, its possible that hes just dead and made sure all that stuff happened to give the illusion hes still alive and keeps his soul alive through peoples hope and his music but its also possible hes alive and all that stuffs true.. i mean how would he still keep coming out with new movies and albums after he dies shouting out shit like 2007!!..

the people who just say "oh ffs hes dead just like elvis" are not proper fans and obviously know fuck all about tupac.

haha that was weird, i was listenin to that song when i opened this thread up...

damn mac i didnt know he had a homie named biggie smalls... but this song most def. caused some controversy on is he dead or not...
if you have read one of those websites that has all the shit on why he would be alive it makes me believe it... but honestly he woulda showed up by now... 7-7-07 already passed and shit and liek someone said its been 11 years....

i also really love the song "so many tears" by him, one of my favorites, but tupac is the shit, hip hop truly would be a different thing if he was still around and biggie for that matter....

i think he his still comin out with music cuz as artists i think they just record a shit load of songs... (not sure but it would make sense) and then only the ones they think are gonna be hits will be on albums, so maybe they are just gettin the shit that he already recorded or somethin... not really sure...

R.I.P. 2pac..

yea this is tru he did spend his whole life recording music so i wouldnt doubt it.. hes prob the best rap artist ever considering he still has tracks coming out years after his "death"

Yeah, I thought it was pretty obvious why he still has material coming out. Like budsmoka said, he used to record 50-100 or more songs just for one album [most artists do this, but to a smaller degree compared to Pac], then pick which ones he was happy with from that bunch. The first few albums that came out after his death were made with unreleased material. With a lot of the newer albums, they just take older verses and add brand new production and guest features to them...for example, Eminem produced most of "Loyal to the Game" album.

"Eminem used various unusual production techniques during the creation of this album, namely modifying the pace and pitch of Tupac's voice to better suit the beats produced. There has also been cutting and pasting of vocals to produce new words now synonymous with current rap culture."

I will admit though, some of the conspiracy theories are fucked up lol...guess we'll never know the 100% truth. Either way, he was a pretty smart guy [understatement].
