Lol well ive been working in london 2 days a week in a timber yard. its £4 a hour/£40 a day/£240 a month

i liek the job and shit but because its in london i have to leave home at like half 5am so im on time and dont get home till about half 6pm

So really my job takes up 13 hours, and at £30 a day thats only like £2.30!

Also

I can only get up to london 2 days a week, i want to be working more because ive finished school now. So what i make in 2 weeks at this job i should be able to make in 4 days....

But the problem is its hard to get a job where i live...

Ive got till friday to make my mind up, what you think i should do?

EDIT: Im not a morning person! So waking up at quater past 5 and then traveling 60 miles is not ideal!

I'd look for a new one first. Maybe even just take on the job you find as a second job since you only work 2 days a week. I dont think you would mind having the extra money

£4 per hour, no offence but thats pretty shitty im sure you can get better elsewhere, how old are you about 16 im guessing?

Anyway you should definately look for another job with more pay first you dont want to quit this one and then have trouble finding another job, besides its not as easy as you think to get a job it can take a few months sometimes.

remember, it's always better to have a shitty job than none at all

look for another job during your free time, then quit.

Imagine waking up at 4am and then driving 126 miles to work every morning! [2 1/2 hours on a good day, well over 3 hours on a bad day.] Then you've got to add the time in traffic jams.

THAT's what i've got to go through.

Good job i dont pay for my Diesel.

In the good ol days you used to be able to quit a job in the morning and have another by the evening, but these days it can take forever just to get an interview.

I've been working for nine years and take it from me, someone who spent years job hopping, it's always much easier to find a job when you already have a job. If you only work two days a week there is no justification to quit the job before lining up the next gig. Stick to it, no matter how much you hate it, until you find the next money branch.

I don't mean to be a braggart either about what I do... I dont want to come off smug or anything... I just love what I do, its very rewarding to know I put smiles on peoples faces... I put a lot of effort into it, and I realize I'm a bit more fortunate than others... regardless as Confucius said "in life get a job that you like, for you will not have to work another day"

Good luck all!
