sup everyone, my first post here, i was blazing this new shit that my dealer got right, we got a half qaud me and my buds, and we blazed about 3 bowls. now on the third bowl my buddy pulls out his codiene pills that hes been poping all day and crushed one and spirnklled it on the weed. ya i snorted sum and we blazed that bowl and im completely fucked if u havent noticed. like i thought i saw a owl in a tree but it was just the way the bark was broken. im just wondering if codiene has any bad effects? can anyone tell me? :confused:

Smoking pills certainly has bad effects, and codeine is often found in combination with acetaminophen which makes it worse. You would have gotten more out of it if you just chewed/crushed the bills and swallowed.

If the pills also contained acetaminophen/APAP (Tylenol) which they likely did along with binders and fillers it just clogs your nasal passages and prevents much of the codeine from being absorbed. It all drips into your stomach or stays in your nose until you blow it out.
Pills were meant to be swallowed and in this way your only dangers are overdose (which depending on the dosage would require several pills) and opiate addiction (codeine is an opiate)...but that would take repeated use for about a week.
Acetaminophen can cause liver damage at high doses but you would only need to worry about that if you planned on taking a number of pills where the total APAP content would be over 3000mg. Some people will exaggerate the risk of liver damage while others will ignore it so lets just say 3000mg at once isn't the best idea considering that it wont contribute to your codeine buzz anyways.

ok thx man, ya ive only snorted codiene twice ( both time they were small lines ) and ive only blazed 2 bowls with codiene in them. so im alright i guess.
