Can anyone provide a simple walkthrough?

I'm entirely new to this and I have been reading and researching this site for the past two days trying to learn as much as possible before i start my own plant. I am planning on using bagseed that I am trying to gather as to get at least one plant, maybe two. I have learned about lighting enough to decide that I am going to use CFLs in the lower spectrum in desk lamps, but i don't know how many and i am trying to keep this as low budget as possible. Can someone tell me exactly what to do, like how deep to plant the seeds, how to influence sexes, what nutrients I need, what light cycles should I use from start to finish etc. A kind of guide or walkthrough from seed planting to when to harvest would be ideal so I don't have to try and remember so much information and can refer back to this at any time during the process. I am going grow indoors in the corner of my basement in a humid spot with much concrete surrounding the plant if it helps influence any of your tips. I can post pics of the area if anyone would like to see them and tell me what I am going to need. I'm not trying to grow the most excellent bud, I just want some for my own use. Also, any tip anyone has on how to keep the plant size smaller with maximum buds would be AWESOME. ANY help would be so appreciated and i thank you greatly for it.

Really, all that information is already here and you just need to read the threads and especially the FAQs.

In your quest for bagseed, STAY AWAY FROM MEXISCHWAG because it is sativa and will give you a damn nightmare growing it indoors. At least find some beasters, but there again, good luck finding BEANS in them, lol!

Hey Karma, just a friendly suggestion... it would be better if you would go into your user cp and change your signature to be SINGLE spaced. Long sigs colg up the boards and make it harder to see the USEFUL information.
If you want to add all that info and need more space, you can put it in your profile comments.
