we've had storms for the past few weeks. Our average rainfall is 34" a year and I saw on the news that we are already at 35" at barely the halfway point. If it didnt cause death and destruction via floods I'd wish for it to keep on raining, our usually unbearable summer temps have been mild, in the 70s and 80s. Yesterday it was 90s, but it was sunny most the day.
I love a good rainstorm, best sleeping and reading weather :)

Sometimes it is nice when it rains like you said. But most of the time in England its just annoying, especially this last week or so. The other day it was sunny outside so I hung the washing out to dry, then within and hour its raining so I have to bring it in. Then another hours goes by and its sunny again. Grrr

I just wonderd as the majority on this board are from the US and you and lip are the 2 people from the UK that I recognise most when reading threads. I am also from the north. Cumbria to be exact.
