View Full Version : Intense ear ringing.

Last night I was feeling bored and I had nothing else to do, so I packed up the waterfall and took the hit. Without much hesitation or thought put into it, I decided to take one more hit.
By the time I was peaking my eardrums felt like they were about to pop. The intense ringing was not painful but it made me partially deaf and it sounded like everything that I was listening to felt blocked by something. Almost as if somebody put a cork in each ear.
Anybody experience something similar to this?
Also, is it in anyway not safe for this to be happening?

Oh yeah...when I first started smoking that always happened to me. Luckily I got over it. Actually sometimes I found out it was caused by things such as the TV or the fan light. No joke. If I turned those things off it would go away.

I've had it a few times, but only when I first started smoking years ago.

This started happening to me in 2006 when I smoked from a poor man's pipe with some friends. I still go through this but once in awhile. It became a concern so I went to the doctor to get my ears checked up and the doctor said it was clear.
I also had this last week but now Im kinda use to it. When I smoke it the ringing got a little worse. Im kinda use to it now.. :wtf:

I also went to the doctor for my ringing in the ears. He found nothing wrong. WTF

I've been smoking once or twice a week for a little over a year now plus all the "once every few months" before that, so it's no beginner thing.

Sometimes ringing in the ears can be gotten rid of by simply cocking your head over to one side for a few minutes. The theory is that one of the cilia (little "hairs" inside of your ear that vibrate to let you hear) has gotten a bit of a dead cell or other "trash" on it in just the wrong place and it is being set off by it. Tipping your head allows the bit of "trash" to fall off. - Granny:hippy:
