this JUST happened like 2 mins ago.....and is still going on.......


usualy when i smoke at my house at night i crawl out my bedroom window onto the roof that covers the deck on the side of my house....well i crawled out my window and i went to the edge of my roof and sat down to smoke a bowl...well there was a little wind and it kept blowing the lighter out. so, i went back near one of the windows and took a puff....I look down and there is a bat(the flying nocturnal mammals) sleeping on the window sill....well this scared the crap out of me cause i live in PA so we don't see many bats and i also just wasn't expecting to come face to face with a bat......so i ran to my window and dove in(not even lying about that).......i ran to the room that had the window with the bat on it(it's also where my computer is) and looked thru the window to see the bat....it was just lying there on it's stomach....so i opened the window i tiny bit(just enough to fit a stick thru) and poked it with the stick......well it wasn't dead.....just asleep, which doesn't make any sense because was 1:30 AM and still completely dark(bats don't sleep at night).....well the bat is still out there and i wana get rid of it but i don't kno what to do.....any suggestions?

but really if its sleeping then i would let it sleep but how do you know for sure it isnt dead?

Well i know jack crap about bats but if its 1 am and its laying on your house and you poke it with a stick and it doesnt fly off i have a feeling it probably isnt doing to good because that doesnt seem normal.

lol and if you smoke out with him he owes you a fat bag, hey get some really ice cold water and pour it on him and see if he dont get up from that if hes still laying there then feed it to your dogs or something

Im sure they have there own little bat chronic thats why they sleep all day and party all night :thumbsup: and if it wakes up...well....thats your problem LOL

I would have just left it alone. If it was sleeping then it wasn't going to do anything to you.

However blowing hits into the face does seem fun.... :)

Dude, leave it the fuck alone! Bats can carry rabies! It seems they are partially immune to it- it makes them sick, but they don't die, unlike most animals. It scares the hell out of me that you got close enough to blow a puff of smoke in its face! NEVER mess with a bat (or other animal) that is acting weird! The treatment for rabies isn't as awful as it used to be, but it still isn't fun! Rabies is 99.99% fatal (some gal recently survived it with some radical treatment- 2 others who tried the same treatment died.) - Granny
