I started growing 7 days ago. One of my pots has a lot of this green "stuff" in it. Another has a little, and the last 2 are clear of it. Right now my humidity is very high (80%) because I wanted to keep moisture in for the little guys, but now im wondering if that caused this green stuff/mold. I only have 2 80mm PC fans blowing on them right now for circulation. Should I get a dehumidifier in there ASAP? and if so, what relative humidity levels should I be aiming for? I've seen everything from 45-70%...

hmmm ... from the photo, it looks like ya got algae growing ... never seen that in fresh soil before ... are you using aquarium water, or some other 'dirty' water source ? ... that's peculiar ... I wouldn't freak over it, yet ... I think I'd just try watering a couple times with regular, chlorinated tap water, see if that doesn't clear it up ... (chlorine does NOT hurt your plants, but it does kill some beneficial organisms in the soil, won't hurt to try it a few times, in this case) ... also, be sure you're not over-watering ... :wtf:

I am just watering with tap-water, though I have several old water bottles that i have filled and keep in the room. I did that so the temp would be the same as the room.

I do not think I am over-watering, after I planted the seeds I saturated the soil until it ran out the bottom. Then I have done this once more in a weeks time. I don't think it was dry the last time I watered, but the top of the soil was dry and I figured keeping it all equally saturated would be ok. I am defiantly not flooding them.

it isnt mold, just seeds left in the soil. moss more likely.
