Just wonder if i'm in the norm..
I'm early 20's

here's who knows

1. parents (just recently told them. While i was still at home, after they suspected me of using some more hardsore shit i told my dad (knowing he use to smoke, then my mom like a month later not knowing my dad already told her. lol, they got me to cop to the lower charge and its nbd now)
2. some co-workers (the 2 i smoke with)
3. most friends
4. my dealer
5. i think my boss suspects (or expects)

its no secret in my life... i'm all for it. i just dont want any authority figures knowing :)

Anybody who takes one glance at me and knows whats up. I don't hide it, but I don't put it on display, it's just something you can tell. I can always tell who the stoners are just by looking at them. As for people close to me, all my family and friends know I do, because so do they.

I can always tell who the stoners are just by looking at them. i dont know my man... maybe u can, but i never know. i guess with some people its obvious, but the people i smoke with the most are engineers, doctors, the ones u NEVER suspect. im constantly surprised by the people i find out are smokers. i recently toked up with my buddies mom who i've known for years. never knew she smokes.

When you realize that people from every walk of life smoke, that's when it's easy to make a connection. That and I'm really good at sensing unseen things and reading people.

Everyone i know, knows i smoke. I'm proud of the fact i toke, and i advertise it to everyone. I even have a 5inch pot leaf sticker on the back door of my van. My parents know, my friends know, my family knows, my employers know, my co workers know, the police who i've had dealings with know, my supplier knows - even my old teachers knew i smoked it when i was in school. Everyone i know, knows i smoke weed.

I try to be discreet about it with people I meet on a daily basis...I'm not walking/driving around with red eyes or anything....
but my family knows....my "friend" smokes with me... the cops know, but wait for me to mess up.....they stopped me for running a stop sign and he's like "what, no weed today?"
my boss knows....he's seen me on this website.. he tells me as long as I do my job right, he can care less...

anyone else doesn't affect me much so I don't mind if they know or do not.

Everyone at work knows since well, ive smoked with almost all of them at one point or another.

My sister and her little giggly friends know. My family (Uncles, aunts) up in Canada know.

my parents already caught me a couple of years ago, and they would fucking freak out if they knew that i was still smoking. i only had to take a month break when i got caught and then i moved out of my parents' house and went off to school, which is 4 hours north of them. so anyone that knows my parents or would tell my parents doesn't know.

but a couple of people at home know.

but most of the people that know are people that i go to school with. almost all of my friends from school know. and i don't display it, but it's pretty obvious from the way i dress, the music i listen to, the way my apartment is decorated, etc. etc. and if people ask me (unless they're authority figures), i never deny it. :) but the director of the program i'm in at school knows, i think, because one morning i smoked at 7 30 am, and i had his class at 9 30 am, and i was still super baked in class, and i know he knew i was baked, i'm pretty sure of that, because he usually called on me several times during class, and that day he didn't call on me at all, just kept giving me weird looks...

pretty much everyone i know. my eyes get really red, honestly i think they get redder every time and i just am not good at being on my toes about lying when im high so i dont do it. plus after awhile i just dont really care any more.

this is a good thread, every stoner needs to be more public with their cann-affair, otherwise we'll never see the day when you see a High Times on the table in the dentist's office. One ironic problem is; there are so many weedsmokers that there is a big enough market to keep almost everyone who wants it in good supply, plus you can grow it youself, and thus we can comfortably maintain our counter-culture lifestyle regardless of the law. So where's the motivation to be an activist about it? It should be that society would really benefit from commercial hemp.

I really only try to avoid my parents knowing (I'm 25), only because I have tried to have rational conversations with them about the nature of weed; but anything considered counterculture is abhorrent to them, as radical rightist mormon fascists..etc..I could use words like that till I bled from the ass and still could not convey their inexorable insistence on perpetuating old generational prejudice and dogma. They probably suspect I toke, but they are sentimentalist republicans so it's always easier to construct a more pleasant image in mind than to deal with cold reality, so it works in my favor this time.

my brother just got into weed and hes making an ass of himself, he calls bowls pipes and he bought pipe filters, and i refuse to smoke with him because hes a big loser, he also tried to bum some weed off my supplier
