I dont get it dog repellers...

the link you gave is to mini stun guns

edit - ok i see the dog repeller now lol....

and yeah i think they probbaly do work because you hear that a lot on tv and things with other animals including dogs because their ears are different you can get whistles to attract or tell certain animals to piss off but to the human ear there is no sound, pretty cool eh

yeah, but i've also tried a few of those ultra sonic things (dog whistles... this command box thingie that worked on the same principle) and it didn't hardly ever work...

just saying, if you're getting it to repel a dog, you're obviously not gonna want to find out at that crucial momment whether it works or not... so go with something that you know won't fail... stun gun would work too.... i'd highly suggest stun gun or mace.... cuz you do need soemthing you know will 100% work...

just as a note, if you are ever being attacked... make sure it grabs your leg or arm or something... (i'ts gonna hurt like a bitch tho) and find a way to shove the fingers of your free hand all the way down it's throat... ALL THE WAY YOU CAN!... dogs have gag reflexes too.... it'll make even a pitbull wiht lockjaw let go... and he'll probably endure a choking fit, in which you can put some space between the two fo you...

the next thin gof course is go for the eyes... after that, a swift punch in the ribs is usually enough to stop most dogs...

throat eyes ribs.. in that order...

lol... no i'm not actually... i've never been fully attacked but i've had QUITE a few very close calls.. (the youngest i was all of 5, and three mean as fuck chowchow's broke through the fence of our neighbors yard and chased me down...)

but yeah i've found out on my own what to do just incase... i live in a shitty town, and alot of people keep pitbulls and other mean as fuck dogs around...

my wife almost got mauled by one matter of fact, it ran straight up on us, because we didn't run it stood there at us for like a minute barking and growling no more than 3 inches away....

<.< believe me tho... those things DO work.. why i said in that order is cuz of the likelyness it'll work... the throat thing will 'always work' but just incase it don't, go for the 2nd... if all else fails go for the 3rd... lol, aside from the gag reflex, it works on sharks too...

if a shark is makin gyou feel unsafe, punch in the snout, if that don't work poike it in the eye, if that don't work, punch it in the gills... (my grandma loves animals, she's always watching shit like animal planet... lol i've got so much animal data crammed in my head)

btw, mythbusters confirmed the punching a shark in the snout will make it move away, prettyf ast in fact... after all, almost every shark has it's most sensitive senses in it's snout...

How fucking often do you encounter a dangerous dog?

me or rainbow?

if it's me, on average, about once a year or so... (not including ones that came in packs like the chows i mentioned)

the worst yet was a dog that WAS trying to maul me... easily a 150 pound rotweiller.... owners fence was open i was riding my bike.... barely got away from him... nearly got hit by a car doing it as welll...

oh another one would be a doberman.... about 3 1/2 feet tall... jumped a fence in a running leap and came after me... if my mutt dog (tiffany) wasn't with me i'd probably of been hurt pretty badly... i was only about 11 at the time and only had a foot on the dog... and he weighed more than me (atleast i'm guessing.... back then i was 100 pounds or less) she tore that damn dog up... she was always very protective over me.... like EXTREMELY.... even so much as when i got another dog she actually got jealous and would attack him or growl at him anytime i payed him any attention..

he did become my fav dog tho... funnily enough he was half doberman half chow but he was the nicest friendliest dog you would have ever met... never even barked at mail men... just spun his tail (yes lmao... my god i miss that dog so much =/ he didn't wag his tail he spun it... like on sonic the hedgehog) and wined incestantly for whoever he saw to come give him attention...

I have one of those (got it as a sample through work) and I tried it on my dog once (she's 20 lbs. and scared of everything, most recently a fly scared her away no joke). She went running upstairs the second after I pushed the button. So idk if it works on all dogs, but mine (who would never hurt a fly, literally) was very scared. And they even make dog mace called Halt II.
