Iv always like them but recently iv been really jaming thier shit. Seems to be the kinda music you dont realy have to focus on at all, but when you do its pretty intense

Yea, i think the gerne its under now is Artstic Metal. Its realy unlike much of the music out to date

Actually, Tool is quite a dynamic, musical band, considering they're borderline metal. There aren't any other bands out there that offer such a deep musical language but keep such a hard edge.

Tool is awesome, favorite band since the middle school days... i went to the philly concert, and was hoping to goto the Atlantic city one but they sold out to damn fast!

i also have the flaming eye logo tattoo-ed on my arm :D

People seem to bitch about them, especially 10,000 Days, but hell I LOVE 10,000 Days! It's a very subtle (yet intense) psychadelic feeling that frankly, I think you have to have be on hallucinogens or have done hallucinogens to fully appreciate. 10,000 Days (Wings Part 2), especially when I'm on some powerful substance, can take me away like nothing else can.

Since I signed up I've seen so many threads about tool. Even threads that had nothing to do with music at all there will be discussion about tool. ugh.

RebGirl likes Maynard more than Tool I think.
Maybe she likes the lyrics more than the musical part, I dunno.
But anyways I would recommend listening to Third Eye/Lateralus while you're stoned, it will make you trip out. (seriously)
