I absolutely love Slayer, though oddly I use it to calm myself down. Somehow the fast-rhythmic anger that is Slayer channels my anger into a much healthier state of mind.

But man oh man, GOD HATES US ALL is my favorite album of all time! I know most people would argue otherwise, but that album just pumps me up and makes me feel super agressively powerful:D .
Oddly though, i was very disappointed by their latest album "Christ Illusion". They were obviously trying to go back to Seasons In The Abyss, same producer too, but it fell flat IMO. Flesh Storm and Eyes of the Insane were pretty good, but that's about all I have to say for the album. It just felt.....weak, by Slayer standards (especially the new standard they set with GHUA).

Saw them about two weeks ago.. Wasn't overly impressed at all.. Thought they were kinda boring was the crowd that made the gig good really. Never been a big slayer fan though. So much better thrash out there.. Always thought they were over rated :| I can understand why people like them to an extent.. But i don't understand all the hype around them :|
