Yup, I have a few antique Kerr jars with the glass lid and wire bale, but I usually just keep my buds in the cheap Atlas canning jars you can get at the hardware store.

I don't have any of those style jars.
My mother used to make homemade raspberry jam from our bushes, so before I left home, I managed to snag up 4 different sized jam jars. The smallest I can fit an 1/8, then I have 2 jars that I can fit a half ounce in, and one big jar where I could probably fit 2 fulls in, but I store just 1 in there (when I have it that is).
I don't know what kind they are, but just the jam jars, with the lid that comes apart in 2 pieces. One piece is the lid that has a red seal around in the inside of it, and other pieces i the rim that screws onto the jars.
Either way, all of them keep the freshness in for months on end.

Do you think putting a paper towel in the jar would keep it from getting moldy over time?

Nope. Only a proper dry and cure will protect your bud.
GO SOX! Dude wtf was up with that game last night?

I didn't see it so I don't know. I'm not a fair weather fan but I tend not to get too too excited until September, you know? Been there done that got the disappointment. I do have a RS license plate though. :) GAWD my kids have a picture of me the morning after we lost in 2003 to the skankmees and I looked like holy hell!!! lol. Luckily the following year I got to see game 4 on the Caribbean Princess in San Juan on an outdoor HUGE screen with about 200 NYY fans and it was SCHWWWEEEET!!! lol
