You left out a dimension, you said 6' tall 3'wide, whats the depth? Thats important when determining how much light you want to use, how much area you have for planting, ect.

Those things usually have a tall, main compartment and a short secondary compartment.
Tall one- get a HPS400 for flowering with a CRAPLOAD of ventilation in there. A good extractor fan is a MUST, and an air-cooled hood is going to make life easier.
Small one- shell out for a 24" New Wave T5 flouro fixture for vegging under. It's a GREAT gadget and will be perfect for that closet/wardrobe thing.

I have the same closet and it work perfect if you have perfect ventallation. I have a 150cfm fan at the top blowing out the heat and another 150 at the bottom to blow cool air in, I also cut out a few 4 inch cirlces near the bottom for more air flow. Its good anough to keep a 400 hps near 79 degrees and on a real hot day the ac is on. ollie

I use a black and decker plastic tool cabinet with adjustable shelves with a 250w hps mounted in the top. it's about 6' tall 20" deep , 2' wide. it's kept me in supply but I've wanted to grow more and will probably have a small vegetative cab under cfl's to speed up harvest rotations. If you only intend to grow for personal use, it's a good setup, and a 400w hps would be ideal if you can keep it cool (between 75 and 85 F)
