I know its never certain how much a plant will yield. There are tons of factors like Strain, Lighting, Ventilation, nutrients, etc..

But on a general level, how much bud should one plant produce under a 400w HPS system with proper nutrients, and so on. I would just like an example of what to expect. From worst case scenerios to best case ones.

I should also mention that my plants are maybe a foot and a half tall, I started flowering them when they were 12 inches tall and they are in direct light.

if u do things right assume .2-.3 a watt and call it a blessing for more. it also helps if u veg longer, lst, topping depending on the strain etc.

0.5g/w/month
That is if you are dialed in right.
0.2-0.3 is a noob number. You will improve as your skills improve and you make your space more efficient. I'm running in the mid 4's right now.

i know .2-.3 is a low number but i'm assuming its the first grow the nutes might not be right on as with lighting, veg time etc.

yeah that would be 1 g/watt over the course of a harvest cycle, typically 2 months.

males are disappointing, no doubt about that. especially when he's the sexiest plant in the garden! lol

I noticed that.. All my females are small. And the (4 males now) that I found were monsters! I gave them to friend who just wants to grow them in the back to admire them in the county. But damn, the feeling I had when I spotted the first one incredible. I was sad..

If you look at it from a purely logistical view, taller males and shorter females makes sense... the pollen is carried high above the pot patch, out in the breeze, where it can be spread further. Plus in still conditions, it simply falls on the shorter females below.
