Reb has mice and I get fucking centipede. I am so fucking freaked out right now..I go and get a kiwi (mm) and as I'm walking to my room I look up and see a giant fucking centipede on my ceiling. I flipped a shit and made my mom kill it, except she didn't kill it, because she's half asleep and doesn't give a shit..instead it ran somewhere..but because I was too busy freaking out/crying I didn't see where the fucker went..and it was RIGHT OUTSIDE MY DOOR. Now it's 4 in the morning, and I'm scared shitless to fall asleep. I don't want that nasty thing crawling on me. -whimper- and I left my kiwi in the bathroom and I'm too scared to go get it :(

Do you have a can of Raid?

You can use it to hold the centipede at bay till you retrieve your kiwi.

Or maybe your mom can "cover" you while you go after the fruit.

You could try the SWAT approach and blast the room full of Raid, like teargas, and then back out and close the door and sleep someplace else.

Or you can take a direct combat approach and try scraping the centipede off the ceiling with a broom and them saturating it with Raid. Or just putting on a big, tough pair of boots with thick soles and stomping its sorry bug ass once it falls to the ground.

I'm a girl, too. But I think like a soldier when it comes to bugs.

Well, see what happened was.. I made my mom jump outta bed and she took this pole with a little suction cup on the end (for changing lightbulbs) and tried to smush it, but apparently the pole wasn't big enough and just freaked it out..and it ran..possibly into a near by vent *like a foot from my room*..BUT I have no idea where it is! I just want my kiwi :( My boyfriend is coming over tomorrow to protect me..looks like a sleepless night though. I'm utterly TERRIFIED of bugs, not all bugs..but big creepy crawly things like that paralyze me.

Reminds me actually... a few nights ago I was getting stoned after playing Gears of War, and I went to walk back to my Xbox from my window and I feel an extreamly sharp pain... It fucking bit the bottom of my foot! I sat on the couch near by and looked at my foot (it was actually bleeding :wtf:, pretty bad too). So I stop the bleeding, the whole time looking and watching this nasty thing just stand gaurd ready to fight me.. then I took a needle and impaled him with it :D and kept the body in a jar... little bastard. Living in a desert sucks..

But yeah, anything with more than 4 legs is pretty creepy. Especially when it has more than 6 or 8. Things with wings shouldn't get to have more than two legs. These bugs are dirty as fuck. I hate creepy crawlies. If I saw that centipede in my room I would have had to catch it cause I couldnt sleep knowing that thing was still roaming around my room. But if I saw one of them wetas I would freak and run out screaming. Im glad I live in England for that reason. We have lots of spiders (which I hate) and other little nastys but nothing the size of these dirty bastards.
