Does anyone ever think about how trippy message boards really are

well without the internet, i wouldjnt know any of you guys. in fact not very many of us would know one another. but through sharign experiences, advice, thoughts, anything really, we have gotten to know each other. and for the most part we dont know each other one bit still because were seperated by physical boundaries! but all because of this big system of machines were all friends here, that would be sweet if we all built a village called cannabis.com somewhere and that would be a tight village! oh yeah, and when you die, its sort of like you are put back on the right track with a clean slate in being a child. and this whole beautiful gathering place is a place where i feel at home, most of the time. i love you all you are all so wonderful! cannabis.com is the shit! peace & love a thousand times to whoever reads this now :)

I agree. Unfortunately a lot of people left that used to be here. I still come to this site every day though, although I've found another cannabis forum that I enjoy more.

Still, this place is like a family to me.

yeah I consider many of the people here as friends. I mean we all share stuff with each other that we couldnt with the people around us. I think we have alot of fun here together. Its a nice, safe place for your head.

I'd also say because of message boards we know each other in a very unique, and in some respects a more real way. When people are in social situations you have to think and do everything off the fly, which usually doesn't end result in an accurate expression of your thoughts. Here we can discuss what's on our mind, without fear of judgement for the most part, and think out what's going through our minds to convey the full spectrum of your thoughts and feelings.

Well, my user name on all of the cannabis websites I belong to (3 including this one) are all "horror business". I don't want to list it, as I'm not sure if we're allowed to provide links to "competitor sites" but it's the forums for an "international" cannabis magazine.

A lot of breeders and people with a shit load of experience and people from all over the world growing in virtually every where in the world indoors and out. I find there is a lot less immaturity there. Some things I don't like about the site, is that you can only post every 5 minutes, and you can't post more than 10 posts in a 24 hour period... You can send private messages though once you reach 50 posts.

Tbh i'm amazed by telephones... the fact that you can just push some buttons and talk to anyone anywhere in the world within seconds.. and thats technology thats been cookin since the 19th century. People overlook stuff like that because it's just 'normal' and always has been for them. It has been for me, but I still find it crazy...

Anyway yeah these boards are great.. and most of the people here have real value :)
