I've tried several search engines, and still can't seem to find the answer to a question thats been nagging at my paranoia... so I figue I'd ask here.

In Texas or any other state that anyone knows of, can you be charged with "intent to distribute" if you have weed in more than one jar, bag, container, etc. ? Also, I don't keep scales and thats because i dont sell! lol.. I just like to keep my different strain buds seperate.

well, i trust you keep it all at home, and only bring a small amount of one strain when you go out.

I wouldn't worry about that.

When i was 18 I was trying to get my HS diploma at the local Adult school (San Bernardino, CA), I couldnt find a job since I was a white boy in the ghetto, and everyone out there hates white people, so I started selling pot to fund bus fare, food, beer, the essential school needs.
One day I was in my friends car in the parking lot smoking a bowl like we always did, and pigs rolled on us. I had 5 nickel bags. Thats 10 grams of mexican pot, and since it was in 5 seperate bags I was arrested with "possession of a controlled substance for sales" (exactly what was written on the paperwork). My story was that I purchased a 1/2 oz. and it came in 7 nickel bags, which is'nt far fetched since I have purchased 1/2 oz's and ounces that came in a bag full of bags many times before.
So I sat in jail for 3 days with all the federal inmates that were being transfered around on 23 hour lockdown, My neighboring cell was occupied by a really cool bank robber, I got to read through his paperwork and see all the cool shit the FBI wrote about his crimes.
3 days after being arrested I went to court, the charges went down to misdemeanor posession and I got time served. Which is really common for first time offenders, I've seen it hapen to a few other people, they try to scare you strait with a couple days in jail.

Being charged and being convicted are two different thing.
