More controlled explosions carried out in Glasgow

Scottish police have carried out controlled explosions on a vehicle outside a mosque today as part of the ongoing investigation into the failed London and Glasgow bombings.
The operation took place outside the Forth Street Mosque in Glasgow in the early hours of the morning.

It is unclear if there were any explosives in the car.

Yesterday, controlled explosions were also carried out on another car at the Royal Alexandria Hospital near Glasgow, but there was no indication of an explosives in the car.

Meanwhile, Australian police have arrested a 27-year-old man at Brisbane Airport as part of the investigation into the attacks and are also searching a number of addresses.

The man was apparently waiting to board a plane to India and is reported to be a doctor.

Some of the seven suspects being held in Britain are also understood to be hospital doctors

Just saw on the news that these people were part of a sleeper cell.

Why would//how could they carry out a controlled explosion on a car that had no explosives in it?

Looks like they detonated a small charge in or on the trunk........minor repair at the local body shop.:thumbsup:
