Yes and No.
The growing it part is pretty simple. It's dealing with the bugs, thieves, and fungi that are hard.

It takes devotion to learn all the crazy shit you need to know to grow good pot. But once You have a good understanding, and have fucked up enough to learn what you can/cant do. It isnt so hard anymore, shit it's more fun than anything.
But researching at the start can be very hard, takes months/years to learn the bulk of what you NEED to know. And the research continues all the time, because you have to really want to get good at it. Or maybee thats just my experience with the hobbie.

Go organics if you want to get high. No mined elements or crazy shit.
Go earth juice grow 80ppm and maxicrop 20ppm.
The plants like very humid to moist soil.
Dont keep the bottoms to wet or they will droop then yellow from high N pH.

I agree with U.
growing came EZ to me. and once I got the hang of it I got real good.
and my whole setup only cost $20.00 max. lights, fans, nuts, and pots.
and I have grown in both soil and hydroponic.
and the bud I grew from my plants was 100,000 times better than the nasty brick weed that cost U $$$$.
so I say its well well worth it.:D

Hard is when your not learning and having fun. I would not put that word any where cannabis cultivation.

but you have to admit that when a grow goes wrong it sucks and can discourage ppl it is difficult to learn everythong about it if you follow the basics you should grow decent shit and it might not work at all the key is ph n p k micro nutes soil temps humd. cloning lsting all that wait to do just let em grow with enough light itll work:thumbsup:

I would start with an indica like Oasis (nl#2) which is mite resistent and an easy cloner and very forgiving.
pH is not so much a problem if you only use 1/10th of what is recommended which is all they need though good point ibodro
NPK. Plants use the most N and then K as they are both balanced elements.
P stresses the plants into flowering faster though tastes awful and is very difficult for the plants to break down. I do not use it at all if I do not have to. N is about twice that of K.
My site GorillaGrow.org(anic) Home of Organic Chemistry Homepage (http://www.gorillagrow.org) has tons of info under resource tab at the bottom of the home page. From beginer to supercropping genetics.
One love

I find outdoor growing to be quite easy but can be difficult at some times.

well i guess i meant to say the whole growing process, including the trimming and drying and knowing when to harvest the buds because drying seems pretty hard too

all you need to UNDERSTAND on how to grow is a good, simple as possible, GROWGUIDE. Read that until you UNDERSTAND what you have read.
Then decide if you can do that, plus the cost, time, facilities, security, etc. etc.....NO complete growguide is simple...it just don't work that way...you may have to study it for a long time...like I did, because I"m a fucking moron.......but, I grow all I need...that was the plan....:pimp:....
