I just saw 1408, was extremely pleased with it. I also thought The Last Samurai was a great movie (don't dis it just because Cruise is in it).

Jaws, LA Confidential, Apollo 13, Thirteen Days and when I think of some more I'll add them. Imo a good movie is one you can watch over and over and don't even care that you know how it ends already.

I know I might get laughs, but I am serious...

The Lion King- BEAUTIFUL artwork, award-winning score by Hans Zimmer himself, excellent cast, great plot, and not to mention one of the BEST Broadway musicals I have ever had the chance to see.

Brilliant film, intelligent, well scripted and acted (especially Clooney who also produced) nothing weird about that my friend. you'll probably like The Constant Gardener too. Happy viewing
