Looks like fuel to me, orange flame + black smoke and a low rising fireball

Deffo not high-explosives imho

It was an explosive device that had not been detonated, most likely due to the shady work of the government officials.

ok, why would they need explosives when a jet already crashed into it or even a missile according to you guys? talk about grasping for straws.

I've gotta go with Delta9 on this. Regardless of what actually hit the pentagon, the result was damage and a fire that could easily have caused a fuel tank in the vicinity to rupture and explode.
