more noob questions

When do you start counting your weeks in flower, when you switch to 12/12 or when they start making bud? Also when I go to 12/12 I am getting some N def. and dropping some lower leaves. Should I use veg nutes until stretch is over? Using rockwool in hydro.

I think this is one of those ones that everyone answer differently. I start counting on the first full day of 12/12....that way I know when the first pistil shows, how fast the plant is turning etc etc etc.. If I flower a plant for 8 weeks that is 56 days from the first full day of 12//12 lighting.

I personally wouldnt add any N to you mix (depending on what you are using) unless they show the signs of a diff.

It's easy to tell, just wait and react to the plant as it tells you what it needs more of. You can find loads of information on this site and other sites that help to identify the more common diff's

Well they definately are showing a lack of N. Thats why I said so in my first post.

Thats how I figured out what a N def. was, but that doesn't answer my question at all.
What I wanted to know is should I continue veg. nutes through stretch to stop the droping leaves, or will that much N make them stretch more?
