Blazing in the Bath

[Oh My High]

This is something which I've been curious about for quite some time. What's the appeal of blazing in the bathtub or jumping into the pool while stoned? Some people seem to report a heightened sense of comfort while others report water sobers them up very quickly.

There was one time I was baked and decided to give the whole water thing a try and took a shower. I was sober in what seemed like (in stoner time) about five seconds. I would love to try again but I can't smoke weed for awhile. So, what's the low down on mixing Mary Jane and water?

every time after i smoke pot, i take a shower and it feels sooooo good. It also makes the shower like 15 minutes longer. But it never seems to sober me up maybe you should smoke more.

If I bake before I take a shower I just sit on the tub floor, naked and enjoying the hot water on my back and such...but then I fall asleep and I get awakened by the freezing cold water and I realize I still have to shampoo and bath.

In my experience, it's cold water that sobers you up. I've smoked and sat in a hottub many of times and been fine. I've also smoked and went swimming in a pool, and was sobered up within minutes. BIG mistake. To anyone who considered doing that, I suggest you don't! :stoned:

Smoking out side when its raining is nice, Or under something when its raining. The air smells so fresh and wakes me up from being all hazey cept im still high. As for taking a shower it always has killed my buzz hot or cold.

Speaking of Waterfall hangouts...I was watching a show on the Grand Canyon...and if you hike down into it.....somewhere there is a nice waterfall with good jumping points deep and secret with beautiful clear water.

It was the perfect place to just chill and smoke. I have to go there.

Get into the bath when your not stoned and have a nice fat joint pre-rolled, once your settled in the bath spark up and just toke it, lol the bath is one of my favourite places to smoke :bonghit:

bathing when high is really cool, its a bit of a problem for me cos i tend to get really sleepy. cold water feels best but it can sober you up, try a water slide i did it in spain and it was really cool.

We do! Go the the Poconos, I don't know where it was exactly, but when I was hiking there in april and there was a georgus waterfall. Idk where you live in PA but if it's anywhere Philly (where I reside) then you aren't too far from Maryland, there was a beautiful one a this place called thorp or something like that. They were both about a 1-2 hour drive from me.

But I use to meditate a lot...I remember how relieving it was....

I just spent a shitload of time in the shower meditating...no joke....

And now I feel the most relaxed and carefree I have been in a long time....

Idk but the shower feels awesome baked.. and swimming in a pool too! doesnt affect my high.. I LOVE it.. like going underwater blasted with your eyes closed twirling around feels so relaxing.. like a dream almost.. Also i had those motor things that the underwater scientists and scuba people use its like a lil engine thing that has handle bars and you push a button while holding on and it propels you through the water pretty fast too man.. its AWESOME high.. it's like being flying fast as fuck under water with out getting tired... fun stuff.

OH try this. we did it and its awesome. if u have a pool with a solar cover on it, go under the solar cover so ur under it but still in the water. push the top up a lil bit so u make a lil air pocket and get a circle in there and clam bake that pocket. its sweet as hell. my friend saw us comeout of there with this huge smoke cloud just rising up haha. oh and last night we smoked a few bowls while chilling in my friends hottub/nice wooden gazeebo. (he rich). it was awesome. totally relaxing and my friend was entertaining me with his highness. weed + water = good times.

My buddy says showers sober him up while I always seem to stay baked during and after a shower. I've smoked a couple blunts in a hot tub before and it wasn't a great or bad experience really, just simply smoking while setting in a tub of water. Very relaxing though but not anything special to say the least.

haha wow that's what I did all last summer except for the smoking part. We would do that before we went in.

Me and a few friends smoked quite a bit and then went to the nearest public pool. It was really relaxing and refreshing, because it was so hot out. I didn't sober up at all.

i had an experience like the once...i came home super baked and went straight to the shower..and it was amazing... it felt like i was in tropical island with a huge waterfall coming down on me..it felt great...then it was something like ying/yang between bad and good...for some reason i started to think that the hot warm water was evil and that if i turn the warm water then i will be with the evil side..and if i was in cold water i would be with the good side....even though the water was cold i didnt feel the coldness at all...in my head i also imagined one of those old chinese master's with long white beards and those long robes....he was telling me that i made the right choice and my response was "yes sensei"...lol it was one crazy experience..something i would try again.....

i went to some pool that had a whirlpool hot-tub and swimming under water in there with eyes open was amazing, i said it felt like i was swimming in the amazon (never been there... idk) everyone but my brother thought i was crazy lol (he knew the deal)

LOL Cripinmike I could relate man. Ok, one time after a few months of not smoking weed.. I got off probation so I celebrated with a fat blunt to the face of some yummy chronic.. I went straight to the shower to disguise the smell and relax a bit.. But the whole time the hot water felt soo good and I would close my eyes and thoughts of me being on an island with no problems and I would hear waves in my head but still feeling the water on me.. haha it was almost like I was really seeing my mind's eye when I would close my eyes in the shower... it was hawt. :]

I shower high whenever I get high at home. I haven't been able to in a while because my roommates are lame and have a "no smoking" rule in the house. In August I get to move to the basement apartment (2 bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room only 100 more a month then I pay now for a bedroom and sharing a house with 5 other people :D) and I'm going to smoke/shower all the time.
