Completely random, yes. But I have had braces for the last 3 fucking years, I am getting them off very soon. However, I have smoked cigarettes for the past 2 years (which obviously fucks up your teeth braces or not) and I drink a lot of soda and basically do all shit I'm not really supposed to do with braces. I was just curious as to if any of you had ever had braces and when you got them off was everything alright? No white spots or anything? Like how much did you brush and if you smoked or whatever. Just curious cause I'm afraid I fucked up too bad and I'm gonna go to get them off and have white spots on my teeth ahh

When I had braces I ate everything I wasn't supposed to, I brushed less than what some people may find hygenic (once a day, twice if I was feeling ambitious) and I had no problems at all.

I hated those braces every day I had them on. When they came off I felt like a new man with a new aura of confidence. Those first couple weeks after you get them off are heavenly. I had mine on for a year or two.

I was just a boy when I got braces, so there wasn't any concern about smoking or drinking alcohol. I hardly ever followed the rules, maybe the first week after I got them, I was good, then I ate what I wanted. When I finally got them removed, I couldn't stop rubbing my teeth...No metal!!

my brother had braces for like 4 years... he had REALLY crooked teeth... but he smoked, i never really saw him brush his teeth much when he was over here, all he basicly drinks is soda (pretty much my entire family does)

when they came off his teeth looked pretty much normal....

I am not saying this with any absolution but it is possible that your teeth are demineralizing. There is also a condition called dental fluorosis, which could be a side-effect from the fluoride in the toothpaste you use. Fortunately, they say it is only a "cosmetic" issue, and not necessarily an actual health problem. When they remove your braces, you will also undergo a cleaning which should get rid of them. Don't take it from me though. They are your teeth after all.

yeah i wore mine for like 3 and 1/2 years and i didn't do anything i was supposed to, it turned out good though, no white spots, i was fucking nervous too, but they clean your teeth as soon as they come off so they could probably fix it if there were white spots.
