Giving blood

Im not too sure if this is in the right forum... but i dont really see any where else.

I'm thinking of giving blood sometime next week, is there any way they can tell i smoke cannabis from my blood and will it affect my blood so they might not take it?

You've got to be a certain wieght and build before they'll even concider.

Yeah i took some weird online test and it said i was fine, my brother is a pretty similar build to me and he gives blood regularly. I'm quite sure i'll be able to as i've got nothing wrong with me or anything. I just dont really want to tell people like that that i smoke cannabis.

in the U.S. it wouldn't matter they would take your blood and say thank you.
