I do not. Why? Because my mother used to talk to herself and I thought she looked crazy doing it ! So I just talk to my cat like she cares and understands English instead. Much less crazy! ( Yeah, right! )

yup all the time.. i kinda used to 'do something' and it destroyed my mind alot... i finally recovered from full blown retard status (i couldn't say anything without stuttering and couldn't think of easy words, i basicly couldn't even put together a sentence) it still effects me now... i'm no where near what i used to be, in brain power i mean...

it helps me concentrate on what i'm trying to concentrate on...

the only way i can really explain it is my thoughts are a candle... and sometimes a wind just comes by and blows it out and i don't have matches to light it up again.... but talking to myself is like taking out the candle and just putting in a light bulb... it still goes out now and then, but it lasts alot longer then that candle..

all the time. best conversation around most of the time. partially since i'm the only one around. but i manage to keep myself entertained. great substitute for thinking too. talking myself through something is easier than doin it in silence. if i don't talk, i make sound effects or do strange breathing rhythms.

Yeah. I do it at home, and I apparently even do it in stores. I was looking at fat content on a label the other day in the grocery store, and when I saw it derived 80% of its calories from fat, I made a disgusted face and said "No way, high-fat Jose," and a guy standing next to me started laughing.

I talk out loud to myself. My coworkers have caught me and always pick at me about it. So far the have found out I cant drive backwards or walk backwards very well, I am constantly caught talking to myself, and I trip over my own feet. Yeah I think they think Im unique.
