outdoors - forced??

Hi,

its like the day of the triffids (sp?) in the garden, its only been 2 months outdoor. seeds from holland and say 56 days indoor.
do I
1) bring inside and limit to 12/12
2) have patience and expect flowering soon.

I live in the UK and natural light is around ~ 16 hrs / day (even though weather is crappy)...
pls bear with me as i know lots of people will say go to faq

Hello there.I,m assuming youre new to growing;);) If the plants are ladies,grown from feminised seeds,check to find out if they will autoflower or not.If not,they can be introduced to flower by covering for 12 hour periods with dark bags or similar.If you can get them inside under a lamp to flower,then do that, as the lamp will give a better yield.If growing outside isnt a problem for ya,i,d personally stick to that way,growing as nature intended.I envy your dilemna(LOL).Peace and many succesful grows.

Most plants grown outdoors in the UK don't finishing flowering till around September. The 56 days is 56 days from when they start flowering and that is not even going to happen until the day light hours reduce to around 12.

You know not all plants are suitable for outdoor growth in the UK right?
If it is a type suited for outdoor growth in northern europe type climate then the description of the seeds should cover what month it should finish up flowering.

Sounds like if you have the option you should get them indoors and finish them under lights.

i would bring them in and put them in the dark,i done it this year and i worked quite well apart from having to carry them back up the garden at 10.30am every morning! force them before the weather gets shite so you will still have some good days of sun before it gets dark and damp early
