ok this may sound wierd.

ive fallen in love with a girl from my dreams. we first met in a chateau overlooking the rainforest. then it was in a wintery, concentration camp like prison which we escaped from together. i see her a lot when i dream. i think im in love. sometimes i even go to bed early to try and meet her again. i cant stop thinking about her.......

sorry if it doesnt make sense

it makes since to me... I just had a dream about a girl, and i was totally head over heals for her, i even tried to go back to sleep. we are just those people who have extremely vivid dreams, where we can hear touch taste and experience everything. i hate the nightmares though, mine can get extreme sometimes i think i should make movies, because i always remember them in full detail. But we do know its only the last 10 second of waking up... we dream in flashes which is hard to grasp for me..

Wanting to go back to sleep because you liked what you were dreaming about is one thing...falling in love with something you MADE UP, is another.

LOL...that's so weird...I'm the same way. I still remember a GOOD one that could easily be in a horror movie. It's set in this spooky movie theater..lol I could go into detail but it basically is me running for my life with this crazed killer chasing me.

I'm still fairly confident Hollywood will buy my script (haha once I actually write it of course). My agent's working hard for me though...maybe I'll start out small and direct a couple adult movies...ya know, work my way up LOL.

Oh and dude, listen to me carefully: GET HELP

LOL just kidding. I'd say go to sleep if it makes you happy. ~

ugh, I get the most vivid and terrifying nightmares, though they seem to correlate exactly with my body temperature. The hotter I get in my sleep, the more real and terrible the dreams become.

So sam44, this is an interesting situation indeed. I can't tell you what's right or wrong, you know what you feel. Maybe your brain is compensating for the loneliness you feel, I actually wish mine could do the same, being alone really sucks. Hope it works out for you.

i doubt hes actually in love guys, its just a feeling in the moment. Some are able to go back to sleep and continue their previous dream. I am one of those people who love to sleep ask anyone. i swear sometimes i have a different life when i sleep. I live a completely full life also, work, school, friends, family, clubs, partys. I just enjoy my dreams, when their vivid its hard not too.

Simple. You have been watching too many Bond films. Thank goodness you do not watch The View right before bedtime. Your dream girl would be stuffy and dull.

That lady is a scam artist. It's called cold reading, look it up some time, I can spot the method to every single one of her "psychic readings"

falling in love with a person in your own dreams?

Sounds like some self removed form of narcissism to me...

Nah, personally I think it's just a mental compensation method for what his brain really wants. I've had significant dreams, ones that feel so real they emotionally effect you as if it really happened. Once I dreamt a meteor was coming and bringing the end of the world. I spent several hours preparing, saying goodby to my friends, and when it finally came I was just in awe and terror of the end of human existence. I woke up and actually ran to my window to see that the world was still there! lol
