Being high at work...

Now I wouldn't advise this for all jobs, smoking would be a bad idea with some jobs and there are some I know I'd hope the people weren't high while working.

But... I work at a Panera Bread (bakery/restaraunt chain) and so there's nothing too intellectual i have to do while on the job. I've been doing the nightshift a lot during the weekdays over the summer. I've found that if I smoke up shortly before I go in that I end up doing a much better job. Im in my zone, always doing something and it goes really well. It's especially great if im on dishwashing duties, cause I just stay in back and wash dishes and spray water around while listening to my tunes on the cd player we have installed on a shelf above the sinks.

I work stoned all day. I work faster stoned too. I smoke in my van on the way to work, i get to work, i sit in my office, i smoke in there, and i smoke while i walk around the boatyard. Good job my office is upstairs or everyone would smell it LOL.

I know they're all different, but there's one down the street from me..literally walking distance, that's hiring and I need a job! lol but I don't wanna work there if it totally sucks ass.

meh, it's ok... It's not the best job I've ever had, but it's definately not the worst. The people I work with are all really cool, including most of the managers too, so that really helps a lot. On some days though I just get really sick of it, I suppose that happens anywhere though.... oh yeah it's also good for the discounts on food.

I know smoking doing college sucks, ugh math high is torture but I never smoked at my last job, I worked at an amusement park in games and retail. But I need a job now so i dunno...depends on what i get..I hope I can though

I used to go to work blazed everday when I worked at a small organic grocery store. Now I work in a call center, and let me tell you that trying to convince somebody that they messed up their orders themselves while being high out of your mind is quite challenging!

I sound like SUCH an asshole when I'm high sometimes..

Im a plumber,i have given up smoking during the day!it fucks my day up!!i jus spend all day looking for tools that i misplace??or looking for my pencil which is behind my ear!!i also earn a lot more when i got price work,by not smoking!!Cant wait till i finish tho,Nice pint of stella and a fat one!!

I "work" 70 hours a week and i'm online most of the time. that's why im on here so much. i smoke in my office:pimp:
thing is, im a camera man for a certain racetrack.
i work everytime they race which isnt much. the rest of the time i watch t.v, download music or something like that.

when i do work i like to be high... u can imagine how fun recording live with a really big camera is when your high.

but i registered in school and im going to take some classes on-line so imma have to smoke less

Durin the past 2.5 months ive been workin on this farm in the greenhouse section of it. And we'll all smoke somtimes if the time is right. It was really crazy 5 of us ages 19-45 on a joint smokin in the back greenhouse.

If the boss caught us we woulda been shot. But it was funny good times.

One slip up on paperwork and you could cost somebody their case or make one of the files worthless. I know I would be able go to work high, but I simply wouldn;t be able to enjoy it as much.

I use to work on my last breaks to head into Overtime.I would smoke on my in my car and i would go in and really do a good job(not half ass it).I would wire the commercial sized refrigerators and make it look real nice and professional.Even my boss would say "wow, i like how you wired that!"

If i smoked on my 1st break then...i would be soooo tired by the end of the day.

All the sudden, they assigned me to oversee a project, and I even get to supervise a couple of people. Unfortunately no raise, but I'm excited about the opportunity.

Still unless I was working some shit job, I wouldn't get high, it's not professional.

I was wondering why my service sucked so bad at my local Panera Bread. Nah, just kidding.

But I must agree. Some jobs you can; some you can't. I dunno if I'd want my accountant getting high on the job. But my lawn care guys? Sure. Why the hell not? I usually worked in construction. There was always more folks that came to work high than those who didn't, no matter which crew they worked for. Think about that next time somebody builds your house. ;) Not that I have a problem with it. Most guys still do a decent job. Certain jobs become routine after a while. By then, you should have the right to get high at work.

when i worked at dominos we would smoke in the walk in which is the big cooler storage room for all the bagged food. everyone their was always stoned 24/7, they didnt care as long as you got your shit done.

but my buddy and i were constantly smoking in his truck right outside the restraunt. multiple times we've been rushed out and had to take a car absoluetly reeking of it, i laways liked to give them a bit of a smile before i drove off.

I build pallets, and my job can be - and often is - performed by the mentally challenged, so lately I figure there's no harm in getting blazed. I'm only here for another few weeks, and I'd much prefer to enjoy them.
